Campbell Stables in Jackson, Mich., has announced the fees for its 2016 stallions, with both sires, Gun Power and Elusive Hour, standing for $1,000.

Gun Power, an 18-year-old son of Unbridled, arrived in Michigan for the 2013 breeding season after previously standing at Calibre Farm in Ontario, Canada. His first crop of Michigan-sired runners competed in 2015, led by Gun Powder, winner of the 2-year-old males division of the Michigan Sire Stakes at Hazel Park, and Haley Power, who finished third in the fillies division.

The unraced stallion has sired nine crops of racing age, with his leading runner prior to standing in Michigan being Brite Sabbeth, an earner of $214,929. He has had 20 starters and six winners.

Gun Power is out of the stakes-winning Lines of Power mare Miss Power Puff, whose three winners from seven foals to race includes Miss Maddie Puff, a stakes-placed runner and stakes producer.

Elusive Hour is a 15-year-old son of Elusive Quality whose runners were led in 2015 by High Legend, winner of the 2-year-old fillies division of the Michigan Sire Stakes. His nine crops of racing age includes stakes winners Hour by Hour, Mr. Conclusive, Im Just Good, Juggle, and Scarlet Hour. He has had 45 starters, 36 winners, and progeny earnings of $1.8 million.

A stakes-placed runner in Michigan himself, Elusive Hour is out of the multiple stakes-winning Bold Hour mare Starlit Hour, whose 11 foals to race were all winners, including stakes winners Perfect Start, Starlit City, Strolling Hour, and Top Touch, as well as stakes-placed Starlits Mission and Top of the Hour.
