Grade 2 winner Informed was represented by his first foal Jan. 18, a filly born at Pat Thompson's Ridgeley Farm near Hemet, Calif.
The filly is out of the winning Game Plan mare Noble Plan, whose dam is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Noble Nashua. It is the family of Southern Hemisphere champions Emponchado and Jimwaki.
Informed, a 9-year-old by Tiznow, was a multiple Grade 2 winner in California as an older horse, taking both the Californian Stakes and San Diego Handicap in 2009. He was also runner-up that year in the Grade 2 San Pasqual Handicap.
Overall, he won six of 28 career starts, bankrolling $521,349.
Out of the winning Tabasco Cat mare Cajun Two Step, Informed entered stud in 2012 at Ridgeley Farm for a fee of $2,500. He will stand for the same fee in 2013.
