Hollinger (3), narrowly beaten by Stormy Lord in the Labeeb at Woodbine, will try to turn the tables when they are rematched in Friday's Tropical Turf Handicap.

Trainer Roger Attfield, who won a pair of Grade 3 races over the turf, the My Charmer and W.L. McKnight, here at Calder last weekend, will seek to extend his local graded stakes streakwhen he sends out a pair of contenders, Hollinger and Mobilizer, in the Grade 3, $100,000 Tropical Turf on Friday's closing-day program.

Hollinger will attempt to turn the tables on his personal nemesis Stormy Lord, who proved the better of the pair by slim margins earlier this year at Woodbine in both the Ontario Jockey Club and Labeeb stakes.

Stormy Lord will tote high weight of 121 pounds in the 1 1/8-mile Tropical Turf while seeking his fourth win in the last five starts for trainer Ian Black and owner David Wilmot. Along with Hollinger, Stormy Lord figures to receive his stiffest opposition from Mr. Ryder, Chosen Empire, and Silver Medallion.

Mr. Ryder had a six-race winning streak snapped in his last start when finishing third, beaten less than a length by Boisterous, in the Grade 3 Knickerbocker decided over a yielding course at Belmont Park. The outing was the first for the improving Mr. Ryder since he registered the first stakes win of his career in Delaware’s Essex on July 16.

Chosen Empire has won each of his last four starts, a streak that began last  May against $25,000 conditioned claimers. He figures to be the pacesetter in the Tropical Turf.

Silver Medallion makes his third start since being transferred to trainer Todd Pletcher midway through his 3-year-old campaign. Fourth in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby for Steve Asmussen during the spring, Silver Medallion exits a third-place finish in the Grade 3 Commonwealth Turf at Churchill Downs.
