LEXINGTON, Ky. - A three-quarter-sister to Wood Memorial victor Buddha was the $443,000 session-leader at 5 p.m. in Equine Spectrum's online auction on Wednesday.

Eishin Bridle, an 8-year-old mare by Buddha's grandsire Unbridled, went through the virtual auction ring in foal to El Condor Pasa, but the foal, which is due imminently, was not included in the sale.

As of 5 p.m., with 17 lots still to sell, Equine Spectrum had not yet released the identities of buyers or of any lots who failed to reach their reserves.

The Taylor Made Sales Agency, one of the investors in the Equine Spectrum auction company, consigned Eishin Bridle to the one-day sale, which featured mares, yearlings, juveniles, and stallions seasons.

Eishin Bridle, a daughter of Buddha's dam, Cahooters (Storm Cat), was a winner in Japan, where she earned more than $660,000.

The Argentine-bred mare Baby Grace, dam of Louisiana Derby winner Repent, brought a final bid of $124,000 earlier in the Equine Spectrum auction. Other notable lots in the auction who had yet to sell were Itsoeasy, dam of Santa Anita Derby runner-up Easy Grades, in foal to Glitterman; Madison's Quest, dam of stakes-winner Request for Parole, in foal to Untuttable; and Queen Maya, a Grand Slam half-sister to Buddha.
