Well, both our Quick-Pix last week got wiped out by brutual interference--but there were nine other BreezeFigs winners on that card, including three exactas, so you live to bet another way and another day. This week there are some very interesting opportunities, and a lot of rain is expected which could mess up some tracks, but one race offers a really sneaky opportunity at a track you might not expect. Philadelphia Park, , Maiden Special, 6 Furlongs This is a pretty modest bunch with two first-timers who come out of mid-level 2-year-old sales where each earned Group 2 even-Par BreezeFigs at 1/8 mile. Both look pretty even, and pretty good gimmick bets. Duck Duck Guska comes out of the OBSAPR sale with a 22.17 foot stride length, which was almost half-foot longer than the average for fillies at that distance the day she breezed. You Devil Do You comes out of the EASMAY sale with a 23.17 foot stride length (a foot longer than what Duck Duck Guska achieved in Florida), but she was just about 1/8 foot longer than the average for that day. These two fillies are absolutely dead even--even their workouts look similar. Watch the board, hook them up, and let's see how they do.
