BreezeFigs Quick-Pix, Saturday, May 19th

Email

OK, we stunk out the joint last week with our Pix, so we'll step back a bit and concentrate on the 2-y-os this week. A pattern is emerging similar to other years--you have to consider the BreezeFigs horses in these races above all others. Last week, seven of the eight BreezeFigs 2-y-os that started were first or second, including two debut winners: Thoroughly at Hollywood ($13,60) and Ascot Hall at Belmont ($14.00). Remember, take advantage of all the tips that we provide--you can get a good idea by clicking on BreezeFigs Information underneath the two BreezeFigs links in the DRF-PLUS box in the right hand column on the home page and downloading files there.

Enjoy the Preakness--we ain't toutin' nuttin'.

Churchill Downs, , Maiden Special, 5 Furlongs

Two BreezeFigs horses here, both worthy of consideration. Cherokee Scot was a solid Group 2 horse at the first sale of the season, OBSFEB, where he earned a two-over-Par fig but a shorter than average stride length (SL). He's still an OK chance here, as is Dr. Nick, who comes out of the less pricey OBSMAR sale with a two-under-Par fig, but a longer than average SL in a sale that was pretty strong. Use either or both in your gimmicks and you should collect.
