to check out the new format for 2-year-old races). Calder, , Maiden Special, 5 1/2 Furlongs There are four baby races at Calder with BreezeFigs horses and this one is probably the most contentions. Forty Zip, who went off favorite and got nipped in his debut, will be the beavy favorite, and there are two others from the same sale (OBSAPR) that also look like they have a shot--World War and How Sweet He Is. But we'd look out more for Wonderous Glory, who comes out of the much stronger OBSFEB sale with a six over Par BreezeFig and a 24.5 foot stride length--more than a foot longer than the other three. Watch the board, use them in your gimmicks, and maybe play Wonderous Glory to win. Hollywood Park, , Maiden Special, 5 1/2 Furlongs (Turf) Two of the three BreezeFigs horses here have already run to their below-Par figs (Fast Corredor and Holy Lark), and we don't think the turf will help them all that much, but you might use them in the gimmicks. The one who looks really good is the first timer Eight Below who has the pedigree and a super five-over Par BreezeFig at OBSMAR, achieved with a good stride length, and the kind of power behind that we like to see in a turf horse. Watch the board, but get on board.
