Breeders' Cup pick six returns $419,245

ARCADIA, Calif. - Fort Larned’s thrilling victory over Mucho Macho Man in the Classic completed an all Breeders’ Cup pick six that returned $419,245 for a $2 wager Saturday at Santa Anita.

Fort Larned ($20.80) was one of three horses who returned big prices in the pick six, along with Trinniberg ($29.40) in the Sprint and Little Mike ($36.60) in the Turf. The sequence began with Mizdirection ($15.80) in the Turf Sprint and also included victories by favorites Shanghai Bobby ($4.60) in the Juvenile and Wise Dan ($5.60) in the Mile. Five of six winners paid $2,712.

The Breeders’ Cup pick six pool totaled $3,139,394.

I had five of six on a $96 ticket,,mizdirection got me and I had unbridled..another woman taking all I had like my ex wife

Seems like there were 2 winning tickets. Ok, but no mention again of the cost of the ticket, where it was bought and how it was played. How could it be a $ 2 wager ? Idiotic if there is no breakdown of the said winning ticket purchace.

$3,139,394 Pool x 23.68% takeout=$743,408.50 in tax that leaves $2,395,985.50 to be distributed to the winning $2 tickets 5 Winning tickets at $419,245.40 each and 110 tickets that paid $2,712 for 5 correct. For a total of $2,394,547 distributed to the winning tickets...still leaves $1,438.50 which probably went to takeout as well. Thats my guess- Steve Christ could tell you he is the math wiz.

"$2,395,985.50 to be distributed" if your math is correct then remove 30% of this amount -somewhere around $720K- going into the 5 of 6 payoff pool. The remainder, around going into the 6 of 6 pool is around $1,680,000 which means there were 4 winning 6 of 6 tickets.

WTF is your issue? You sound like an angry loser.. " Ok, but no mention again of the cost of the ticket, where it was bought and how it was played" how does this info, while fun facts effect your life? Then " Idiotic if there is no breakdown of the said winning ticket purchace" the only thing "idiotic" is your attitude

idiotic? I never wager more than $2.00 ticket on a pick 6 ticket, or a pick 3, 4 or 5. Then again, I am cheap cheap cheap. I look at a pick 6 as a sort of lotto ticket. Just need one to be in it to win it. Guess the person who wagered only a $2.00 wager on the pick 6 feels the same.
