Boris de Deauville turned the tables on Pearl Sky at Longchamp on Sunday when he avenged his Prix Exbury defeat with victory in the Group 2, $173,000 Group 2 Prix d'Harcourt at Longchamp. Boris de Deauville came from eighth to first at 13-1 to defeat Pearl Sky by 1 1/2 lengths, getting the 1 1/4 miles on heavy ground in 2:13.40. It was just a nose farther back to the pacesetting Irish Wells in third. The winner was ridden by Yann Barberot for trainer Stephane Wattel. Boris de Deauville, a 4-year-old Soviet Star colt, will be aimed at the 1 5/16-mile Group 1 Prix Ganay at Longchamp on April 29. * Monday at Saint-Cloud, Freddy Head-trained Racinger took the Group 3, $106,000 Prix Edmond Blanc by a neck from a fast-closing Turtle Bowl. The 7.90-1 Racinger covered the mile under in 1:43.60 on heavy ground.
