Blumin Attitude goes for two in a row

A field of six older horses will contest the mile and 70 yards of the $17,500 State Fair Board Stakes at Lincoln in a race where any of the entrants looks capable of winning.

Blumin Attitude, winner of the Big Red Mile here in his last start May 25, may rate a slight edge. Trained by Dan Coughlin, Blumin Attitude sat just off the pace in the Big Red Mile and made his run through the final turn to draw clear and win by nearly two lengths. He will again have Luis Ranilla aboard.

Roaring Home returns to Nebraska and steps up into stakes company for trainer Joanna Lambert. Roaring Home won four straight at Fonner Park this spring.

First Class Brass returns to action off a runner-up finish in the President's Cup Stakes here going six furlongs. Like Blumin Attitude, he likes to lay just off the pace.

Skwhirl, winner of the Ogataul Stakes at Fonner Park, was third in the Big Red Mile. Skwhirl has a good middle move that should put him in the thick of the battle.
