Group 1 winner Biondetti has been retired and will begin his stud career at Woodford Thoroughbreds in Reddick, Fla. in 2013.
The 4-year-old, from the first crop of champion Bernardini, will stand for $4,000 live foal.
Biondetti won three of nine career starts and earned $359,583 while competing in five countries. His biggest victory came in the Group 1 Gran Criterium as a juvenile in Italy; he was also Group 3-placed in France the following year.
Out of the Group 2- winning Lyphard mare Lyphard's Delta, Biondetti is a half-brother to nine other winners from as many siblings to race, including Grade 1 winner Indy Five Hundred and multiple graded stakes winner Delta Princess, the dam of champion Royal Delta.
Susan and John Sykes's Woodford Thoroughbreds of Florida—which was formerly named CloverLeaf Farms II—will also stand Repent, Crown of Thorns, and Vineyard Haven in 2013. Repent and Crown of Thorns were CloverLeaf stallions in 2012, while Vineyard Haven has relocated from Journeyman Stud in Ocala, Fla.
