Beulah Park: Royal North

GROVE CITY, Ohio - Nine 3-year-old Ohio-bred fillies in search of their first stakes scores have been entered in Sunday's $40,000 Royal North Stakes at Beulah Park.

Michel With One L scored back-to-back open-length victories here in March for trainer Michael Nance. Those wins followed a seven-month layoff. Julio Felix, who has been aboard Michel With One L in all four of her starts, has a return call in the six-furlong stakes for owner M. Y. Stable Inc.

Saratoga Set makes her first start of the year for her owner-trainer Wayne Mogge. She won both of her sprint starts last year and was unplaced in two stakes tries around two turns. Saratoga Set could be a late threat under jockey Rodney Prescott.

Front-running Gabrieles Princess is a threat to go from gate to wire under this meet's leading rider, Jorge Guerra. She has won 2 of her 4 starts for trainer Gary Johnson and her owner-breeder, Frank Regalbuto, including a victory in her last start here against allowance company on Feb. 26.
