Berry celebrates riding title by collecting five wins

EmailJockey Cliff Berry wrapped up his 12th Remington Park riding title in style on Saturday night, when he won five races on the closing night card, including the featured $75,000 Governor's Cup with Beta Capo. The pair powered to a four-length win over 3-5 favorite Sing Baby Sing, who stumbled at the start and rallied to finish four and a half-lengths clear of third-place finisher Greeley's Conquest

Beta Capo ($5.60) is trained by Steve Asmussen, who has now won four training titles at Remington. The horse races for Bob and Cathy Zollars.

Also on the card, Red Birds Magician ($10.80) rallied for a half-length win over Pursue a Dream in the $50,000 Centennial for 2-year-olds on turf. Glen Murphy rode the winner for trainer Bruce Jackson.
