ELMONT, N.Y. – A fairly logical set of results led to a pick-six payout of $7,592 at Belmont Park on Thursday. There were 118 winning tickets.

Thursday’s card began with a double carryover of $251,315 after the wager went unhit last weekend.

Following three dark days, bettors jumped in with both fists, wagering an additional $1,129,658 into the pool.

The winning sequence of 7-7-4-1-2-10 consisted of Rustler Hustler ($3.80), Funfair ($8.80), Rain Forest ($7.60), Transplendent ($5.40), War Colony ($15.60), and Rock On Home ($5.60).

Rustler Hustler, Rain Forest, and Rock On Home were favored in their respective races. Transplendent was the second choice, while Funfair was a third choice. The only double-digit winner was War Colony, who was the fifth choice in an eight-horse field.

The consolation payout (5 of 6) was $82.50.

Incredibly easy pick 6,I'm surprised it paid that much, the pick 4 was an absolute gift ,the 4 rain forest was a single,as was the 7 in the second, and the 10 in the last?

The 4 rain forest, the 7 funfayr ,and the 10 in the last race were my singles,in retrospect the 7 rustler hustler was probably a single to but I went 2 deep and used the 5 at 7/1 who finished third.

Swung for the fences today in NY and made a modest play in Hollywood pick 6. I should be happy that I hit both but with the payouts it was hardly with the investment. What a chalk festival at both tracks!!!!!
