Caixa Eletronica has recorded 8 of his 18 career wins at seven furlongs.

ELMONT, N.Y. - Caixa Eletronica, runner-up to The Lumber Guy in the Grade 1 Vosburgh, tops a field of 10 entered for Saturday's Grade 3, $150,000 Bold Ruler at Belmont Park.

Caixa Eletronica finished third in last year’s Bold Ruler, won by his stablemate Calibrachoa.

This year, Caixa Eletronica won the Grade 2 Charles Town Classic at 1 1/8 miles and came from last with a wild late run to win the Grade 2 True North here on Belmont Stakes Day.

Caixa Eletronica, who is making his 59th career start in the Bold Ruler, has recorded 8 of his 18 career wins at seven furlongs.

“I think seven’s a good a distance for him as long as we get a fast pace to run at,” trainer Todd Pletcher said.

The Bold Ruler is typically a stepping-stone to the Grade 1 Cigar Mile at Aqueduct. Pletcher and owner Mike Repole already have Stay Thirsty pointing to that race.

Little Drama, who finished fourth in the Vosburgh, is a major contender in the Bold Ruler, as he too stretches out to his preferred distance of seven furlongs. He will break from post 10 under Rajiv Maragh.

Others entered include Buffum, Spring to the Sky, Isn’t He Perfect, Associate, Zero Rate Policy, Private Tale, Gallant Fields, and Golddigger’s Boy.
