Behold de Buy took advantage of all the speed in the $100,000 Gold Rush Futurity on Sunday and closed from the back of the pack to pull a 19-1 upset in the six furlong race for 2-year-olds, which closed out the meet at Arapahoe Park. Behold de Buy won by 2 1/4 lengths over R Skydiver, while it was another 1 3/4 lengths back in third to favorite Rivrav. Behold de Buy ($41) raced in 10th early, as the front-runners led by Here I Am Send Me, Verny, and Rivrav dueled through an opening quarter in 21.18 seconds and a half-mile in 44.19. Behold de Buy overtook the leaders with a sweeping move and went on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:11.08. Glen Murphy rode the winner for Donna Eaton and trainer James E. Jones.
