Bear Holiday ($7.90) nailed 2-5 favorite Dancing Allstar on the wire to take the $125,800 Colin Stakes for 2-year-olds at Woodbine. Dancing Allstar, the lone filly in the seven-horse field, established a clear early lead in the six-furlong sprint, and set a rapid pace with Todd Kabel aboard. Bear Holiday raced about six lengths off the lead at the three-eighths pole under Jerry Baird, and commenced a three-wide rally on the turn. Dancing Allstar had a 5 1/2-length advantage at the eighth pole while under a hand ride, but Bear Holiday closed strongly in the final furlong to win by a nose, in a time of 1:11.05. Mighty Bow finished six lengths back in third. * Awesome Action ($27.10) won the $77,000 Ontario Jockey Club Stakes for the second time in the last three years, rallying wide from mid-pack to prevail by a length over a closing Sterwins. The favorite, Le Cinquieme Essai, finished third in the 10-horse field.
