BCBC, NHC qualifiers on tap

It’s a great weekend of racing across the country and DRF Tournaments is hosting an array of contest action to help keep players involved from coast to coast. Whether you’re looking for seats to the majors – the Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge and National Handicapping Championship – or angling to play in an important live-bank event like Gulfstream’s Conquer the Crown or Santa Anita’s Autumn Championship, DRF Tournaments is the place to visit this weekend.

Saturday’s main event is a one-day BCQualify contest where up to two players will win their full $10,000 seats to the Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge. Buy-in is $325 and one prize package will be awarded for every 38 entries. The contest will utilize the live format, where picks may be changed before the start time of each race.

Also on Saturday, in the live format, there is a $2,500 credit builder contest where prizes will be awarded as follows: $1,000 to first, $600 to second, $400 to third, $300 to fourth, and $200 to fifth. Space is limited to 56 entries and the credit builder is filling up fast.

There are also several all-in contests on Saturday, where all picks must be in before the scheduled post-time of the contest’s first race. These events include a feeder for Sunday’s NHCQualify event, feeders for Sunday’s Gulfstream and Santa Anita contests, and a $150 winner-take-all credit builder. Rules for the feeders are simple: finish in the top 10 percent and advance. You can buy in for as little as $15.

On Sunday, the National Handicapping Championship takes center stage with an NHCQualify contest. Buy-in is $190 and up to three winning packages will be awarded. Packages include an NHC entry, $1,000 in travel, and a four-night stay at NHC host hotel, Treasure Island. This contest is using the live format.

There are two additional live format contests on Sunday: a $90 buy-in for the Gulfstream Conquer the Crown and a $162 buy-in qualifier for the Santa Anita Autumn Championship. There is also an $18 feeder for next weekend’s Santa Anita contest.

Additionally, there are credit builders including a zero takeout $1,008 event, a $2,500 contest, and a $150 winner-take-all as well. These will all use the all-in format.
