BC voting to pick 13 from 25

Twenty-five people are on the ballot for 13 positions to the Breeders' Cup board of members and trustees, the Breeders' Cup announced in a release.

Ballots will be sent June 1 to current Breeders' Cup foal and stallion nominators to begin the election process. The election results will be announced at the July 9 meeting of the board. Each person elected will serve a three-year term.

Nine of the candidates are up for re-election: John Amerman, Donald R. Dizney, Tracy Farmer, Tom Ludt, Clem Murphy, Ogden Mills Phipps, Dan Pride, Richard Santulli, and John Sikura. The other candidates are: Nadia Sanan Briggs, Jack Brothers, Bill Casner, Case Clay, Lincoln Collins, H. Greg Goodman, George Isaacs, Reiley McDonald, Michael McMahon, Andre Regard, Jerry Shields Jr., Oliver Tait, E. Duncan Taylor, Robert Trussell Jr., Rob Whiteley, and Jack Wolf.
