Email

A filly from the first crop of champion Hansen turned in the fastest time of the Barretts May sale of 2-year-olds in training and horses of racing age under-tack show on Wednesday at Del Mar, covering the distance in 9 4/5 seconds.

The chestnut filly, named Millennium Force, is the first foal out of the winning Royal Academy mare Sararoyal. She is from the family of Canadian Horse of the Year Fatal Bullet, and stakes winners Regal Rumor, Table the Rumor, No Cabeza, and Millennia.

Bred in Kentucky by TEC Racing, Millennium Force sold as a short yearling for $35,000 at last year's Keeneland January horses of all ages sale, then was a $40,000 buyback at the same year's Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall yearling sale.

The fastest time at two furlongs came from a Speightstown colt, who stopped the clock in 20 3/5 seconds.
The dark bay or brown colt is out of the Grade 3-winning Dixie Union mare Reunited, whose four foals to race are all winners. His page also features Group 3 winner Live Concert and stakes winners Tivli, Lu Lu’s Lullaby, Wind Tunnel, Deal Breaker, About a Girl, Charleston Lady, and Fleet Grey.

Bred in Kentucky by William S. Farish, the colt is a quick turnaround at sale, having just sold at the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. March 2-year-olds in training sale for $100,000. He previously brought $155,000 at the 2015 Keeneland September yearling sale.
