Race 7 - $20,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet (44 - 85 / $155.20): ROCK GROUPIE (4th)

Spot Play: KISS ME IM LOADED (5th)

Race 1

(5) PERFECT PROFIT mare was used very aggressively last out and almost got the job done.  The lightly raced 5-year-old needs to stay trotting but is dangerous.  (4) VIENNA two-year-old showed a lot of improvement last out.  The filly was in tight spaces and kept to her task waiting for the passing lane.  (9) J M SHOWCAT gelding scored his first victory last out putting in a great effort; threat.

Race 2

In a tough race to handicap (3) OLIVER BROWN has done very well in this class but does come off a scratch; command a price.  (5) BESTNOTGETINMYWAY put in a big effort last out charging hard late and would benefit from an early speed duel.  (2) EZ MOVING gelding went a big half mile last out before tiring late but gets the best post and should be in line for a decent trip.

Race 3

(7) SNEAKY should offer a lot of value in a wide open race.  The sophomore trotter has shown a good burst of speed late in the mile.  (5) TEMPUS FUGIT well bred gelding looks to be on the improve after an easy victory in a new barn.  (1) WE'VE GOT IT ALL filly will probably go off a heavy favorite and has yet to pass anybody in her miles; use caution.

Race 4

(5) ROCK GROUPIE has been facing much better and looks extremely tough to beat on paper.  (6) PRIVATE ASHLEY filly pacer is very inconsistent but does have speed and talent; versatile.  (1) VIVA VENTURI three-year-old draws the rail and looks to be slowly improving each week; use underneath.

Race 5

In a bad field full of breaking trotters (3) KISS ME IM LOADED looked better in the qualifier and could get an easy lead up front.  (8) SOUND AND FURY well bred filly has yet to move forward but could benefit from others making breaks.  (2) FOX VALLEY ROXY will probably either break or win.  If you are going to bet her make sure the filly is at least on the gate and trotting before the start.

Race 6

(2) NEW ZION gelding has been trotting some good miles and now faces easier; big chance.  (5) LOOKIN AHEAD classy gelding went a big trip uncovered last out against a game opponent.  If the 8-year-old races back to that effort he should be considered a threat.  (1) MAD COW LISA mare has the most gate speed, draws the rail, and should hit the ticket with a decent effort.

Race 7

(1) BRIEFS BOY has done very well in this condition and should be in a great position early on.  (3) STOP THE TRAFFIC gelding parlayed a perfect trip to get the victory last out but doesn't always give his best effort late. (4) SERGEANT STRYKER just missed last start and faces a similar field.

Race 8

(5) THE GORGEOUS ONE was much better last out after coming up empty the start before.  The 5-year-old stallion finds a really weak field and should win with any kind of decent effort.  (9) MR DARCY three-year-old is also inconsistent but is pacing faster than most of the field.  (1) DAVES ART three-year-old colt makes his first start off a layoff but did close some ground in the qualifier.

Race 9

(8) SEEKIN FOR GLAMOUR mare goes for a red hot barn that almost can't be left off the top spot.  (6) PROSPER mare is another really inconsistent pacer but does have speed and talent; fires early.  (2) FOX VALLEY LILAC looks to offer low value and needs a good trip; use caution.

Race 10

(1) DONTMESSWITHANGEL mare got a big wakeup call last out just getting beat late.  Mare probably won't offer the same price but would be a threat with a similar effort.  (2) FANCY FREE might be starting to turn a corner and now has two straight wins; threat.  (4) WALKINTHEMOONLITE mare closed nicely from a tough spot and should be much closer turning for home.
