Race 7 - $25,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet (19 - 33 / $81.20): PARKLANE SPARKLE (8th)

Spot Play: GRC TRAVEL KING (5th)

Race 1

(8) SWAN PRINCESS filly broke her maiden in a big way last start and would be tough to beat with a similar effort.  (2) HIGH BALANCE three-year-old also scored her first victory last out and could have more to offer.  (1) POWERFUL FORCE gets the best post off a really nice effort.

Race 2

(3) HELLO MY DREAM filly dug in gamely to keep her win streak alive and faces an easier group.  (6) SEEYOUATTHEFINISH is capable of running the favorite down but will need some pace up front to close into.  (4) DALLAS JONES mare was sharp last out and might try and secure a pocket trip.

Race 3

(6) GRACIE ON MY MIND two-year-old filly makes her second career start and closed up nicely in her debut.  If the pacer has her nose on the gate she will be trying to hit the top spot.  (8) MATEE ROYALE three-year-old also makes her second career start off a super first effort; threat.  (2) ELOQUENCE filly has a nice pedigree and should offer a big price in a wide open field.

Race 4

(4) DREAM ROLL filly would have been a winner last out if the driver tips her three-wide at the top of the lane.  The well-bred pacer just missed last out unleashing a furious rally late after being trapped.  (3) ANYTHING I WANT filly makes her third start back off the layoff and should improve.  (9) SECONDS LATER is racing gamely but gets stuck with the worst post and will need more; command a price.

Race 5

(3) GRC TRAVEL KING usually pops a few good miles early off a layoff before going south.  The trotter makes his second start back and will offer a big price in an evenly-matched race.  (6) POWERFUL POE gelding probably is the best horse in the field but might need a start.  (7) HERE'S JOHNNY impeccably bred stallion hits the board a lot just has yet to win on the year; use underneath.

Race 6

In a field with few contenders (6) CONZO is just racing himself back into shape and should be much closer turning for home.  (8) WELL DUNE is two for four on the year and paced a personal best last out.  The gelding has good closing ability but needs to avoid dull cover.  (5) DOZER could be starting to turn a corner off an improved effort; threat.

Race 7

(7) POCO GRANNY could offer the best value coming off a huge effort being pressed the whole mile.  The pacer has been razor sharp and should get some help with some early action up front.   (5) LOVE YOU ALWAYS mare has also been sharp in her last two and will be gunning for position early.  (1) LOVE THIS PLACE mare has had some tough racing luck and now gets the best post.  The eight-year-old will be a short price and isn't that much better than the field.

Race 8

(5) PARKLANE SPARKLE well bred filly has the most upside in the race and looks to have a big engine; big chance.   (3) WATCHBELLPACE filly is the sleeper in the race, will offer a big price, and has yet to get a good trip in three starts.  (1) THIS CHICK ROCKS has yet to hit the board in five tries this year but has been slowly improving.

Race 9

(9) AUNIQUEAQUISTION Illinois bred champ has yet to fire in five starts as a 4-year-old.  If the mare can't beat this field something's wrong.  (4) BUONCAMMINO has a ton of ability and is much better on the big track.  (1) KESONS ALLURE mare was roughed up last out but put in a huge effort prior at this track.

Race 10

(8) STAGE STAR is tough to go against for a red-hot trainer.  (6) ONE LOUD DING went a big effort racing gamely against a softer bunch at Maywood.  The pacer has been right there on the wire with this group and should be considered a threat.  (9) ARROYA BLUE CHIP usually lacks stamina late and has been unable to beat the top choice; use underneath.
