Race 7 - $25,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool
Best Bet (9 - 15 / $34.60): MELT IN YOUR MOUTH (6th)
Spot Play: TOWNE NURSE (9th)
Race 1
(8) DRY CREEK FLING gelding was a game second last out closing late and should be closer turning for home. (2) SIZZLING HALL gelding gets a good post and could be in line for a decent trip. (7) GLO MORE mare showed a good burst in last and finds a soft field.
Race 2
(5) WESTERN DEAL has dominated this class winning four straight. (2) MAJOR DEGREE six-year-old takes a drop in class but has just been racing evenly; command a price. (1a) UNIVERSAL DREAM N veteran pacer was just working himself into shape before the layoff and should be considered a contender.
Race 3
(8) FOXY THREE SOCKS mare threw in a clunker in Michigan and is now back to the big track. Four-year-old finds a very suspect field and a few of her prior efforts would be good enough. (4) STAR PALACE well bred 3-year-old filly has the most upside in the race but her qualifiers and race have been below average. (1) STEPHIE CLAY mare is 0 for her career but does get the best post in a weak field.
Race 4
(2) SKYLINE HENRY gelding circled the field last out impressively and looks to be a good one; adds second time lasix. (9) DEALIN KID gelding likes to come from off the pace and will probably be far back early. (6) POPPA WOODY well-bred gelding has put in some nice efforts and could use some fast fractions up front to close into.
Race 5
(6) DALLAS JONES filly has been getting better with each start lately and will be firing late. (7) KATE THE GREAT mare was used multiple times last out and could use a hot pace to close into for her best chance. (3) TAFFY TOWNE mare gets a good post and should be in line for a decent trip; keeps top driver.
Race 6
(1) MELT IN YOUR MOUTH gelding was blocked last out and never had a chance; expect a big effort. (5) B FLY MCQUEEN mare has been short in her miles lately and could probably use a trip racing off a helmet. (2) FOREST HEIGHTS gelding was shuffled in last but should be in line for a good ground saving trip; versatile.
Race 7
(3) SWEET VALENTINE put in a huge effort last start and now faces less; short price. (4) SKYWAY SHERRY has regressed in her last two but now adds lasix. (5) BARUS APACHE JEWEL never got into the mile last out. The 5-year-old mare does own some ability, will offer a big price, and could be sitting on a good effort.
Race 8
(3) PLEASANT RIO gelding is racing gamely and could offer good value. (4) JOHNATHONS SCOOTER comes off some real nice efforts but could be overbet. (5) TUFF LONGPORT adds first time lasix off a couple of dull performances; versatile.
Race 9
(5) TOWNE NURSE mare put in a huge effort last out and that could be the wakeup call as she has a history of stringing some victories together. (2) LCB SANDY mare gets the best post and has been racing consistently. (1) FOX VALLEY ABSOLUT mare should offer a good price and definitely has the ability to win in this field.
Race 10
(9) MOON BAY DANCER mare has barely broken a sweat winning her last two and should offer a good price. (5) LADY LAKERS mare takes a significant drop in class and should also offer a big price. (3) ANIGHTWITHWILMA mare put in a good mile last out winning from the front and now draws inside.

A super runner-up comeback by TRIBAL CHATTER stamps the maiden filly as the most probable winner on the card. Returning from a 10-month layoff, she finished nearly nine lengths clear of third in a highly rated maiden-40. Now meets an apparently modest cast of state-bred special-weights, and switches to turf. No problem. She was sired by all-surface stallion Tribal Rule; her dam produced California Cup Mile (turf) winner Swift Winds. Blinkers on, speed for a pressing trip, pick-six single first leg of the sequence.
