Best Bet (58 - 121 / $205.60): DAVE’S BID (2ND)

Spot Play: SECIONLINE PAMELA (9TH)

Race 1

(1) SEA ART has been better with Lasix, making up a ton of ground late last out.  (4) SUNSET DREAMER impeccably bred 2-year-old makes his first start in a weak and inexperienced field. (6) REGAL HONOR has yet to win in 16 career starts but has flashed some ability. EDITOR'S NOTE: Jeremey Day co-owns #9 HYD DAT SHOOTER

Race 2

(4) DAVE‘S BID lagged the gate last out and never got into the race but was sharp prior.  (6) LOOK MA NO HANDS was used aggressively last out, just getting beat by a horse who got a perfect trip; threat.  (2) FOX VALLEY IVAN likes to win and is just now starting to get back in racing shape off a layoff; improving.

Race 3

(10) MARY QUEEN will probably take a shot early and probably has the most upside in the race despite the post.  (8) PERFECT PROFIT has a lot of ability but goes with a provisional driver and has been unable to be on the gate in most of his starts.  (6) GOTTALUVAREDHEAD goes with second time Lasix but has been short in two straight starts; command a price.

Race 4

(7) NITROGEN FUSE went a huge effort last out and could have more to offer with a smooth trip.  (8) LOVEDANCINWITH YOU is starting to figure it out and should a battle take place up front, this is the main threat late.  (1) IGOTYOURCRAZY draws the rail and has been racing gamely, but will offer little value.

Race 5

(1) FOX VALLEY ROCKN comes back off a layoff but does draw the rail for a trainer that sends them to the track ready.  (4) HOOSIER HILDA filly is 0-fer her career but did race better last start and finds a weak race.  (7) PERFECTLY CLEAR got a win last out but has yet to prove himself on the big track; command a price.

Race 6

(5) FOX VALLEY LEGEND finally raced back to his potential last out and a repeat of that effort can result in sweeping past late.  (6) BANDS ZEPHYR comes off of two poor efforts but finds a weak and inconsistent field.  If the trotter minds his manners he could get a piece.  (4) VICTORIZE has been facing tougher competition and should offer a huge price.

Race 7

(1) JACKSON WYATT draws the rail in a weak field, got an acclimating start over the track and has decent closing ability.  (6) ARGON FIRE went a big three-quarters-of-a-mile before tiring late.  The pacer just needs to time his move right to have a chance.   (7) COLECHESTER has had trouble passing horses; command a price.

Race 8

(9) PAIN RELIEF has come back off a layoff sharp and was unchallenged last out; fires early.  (2) GOODTIMIN CAM has just raced evenly but drops in class and should be in line for a decent trip.  (3) KEYSTONE CAMARO was heavily bet last out off a big morning line.  The sophomore pacer makes his second start for a new barn and might be ready for a better effort.

Race 9

(9) SECTIONLINE PAMELA raced gamely to a nice opponent last out and finds a soft field.  (5) ROSIES DELIGHT was sent down the road last time out in this spot and could use a smooth trip.  (3) ONE LOUD DING gets sent out for a barn that has sent out some nice-priced winners.

Race 10

Hop on the bandwagon, because if (3) SHES ASTREOS races like her last two, it is lights out.  (1) DISLOCATED might be live; watch the tote board.  (8) BOILER HEIDI HO has had a great year but could be tailing off; command a price.
