Best Bet (55 - 118 / $196.40): CARNOUSTIE (8th)

Spot Play: ALLSTAR SURVIVOR (9th)

Race 1

In a very soft field full of inconsistent pacers (9) GATOR BOY looks terrible on paper but has flashed talent and has a proven pedigree.  (5) TEA PARTY PATRIOT raced much better last out and will hit the board with a similar effort.  (6) TINATUNASBARRACUDA will offer a big price and adds lasix for the first time.

Race 2

(9) TINY MITE six-year-old trotting mare has a good burst of speed and finds a field with few contenders. (5) SUNBONNET SUE well bred 3-year-old has been right on the wire in three straight starts; threat. (2) MONTICELLO LULU mare was sharp a few starts ago before throwing in two clunkers.  Should the 4-year-old race back to a couple of starts ago she would be tough to keep off the ticket.

Race 3

(6) SHES ASTREOS mare was very impressive last out coming first up drawing away easily.  The pacer won't offer the big price like in her last few starts but is sharp.  (3) JUSTINE'S PRIDE mare is inconsistent but is certainly fast enough to win.  (7) DONTMESSWITHANGEL comes off two straight wins and is one of few contenders in the race.

Race 4

In a very weak field (1) MS SOLONGBYEBYE draws the rail and has paced some decent miles.  (3) BLUE SAPPHIRE well bred filly comes off a break at Maywood but might have some upside in a bad field.  (10) BARUS APACHE JEWEL don't count this one out despite the breaks and bad-looking lines.  If the mare can stay pacing somehow she could hit the ticket at a big price.

Race 5

(3) LOOKING AHEAD classy trotter just missed last out, gets a better post, and should be closer turning for home; big chance.  (6) HERE'S JOHNNY didn't race as well as he should have last race and maybe wasn't getting around the track the best.  The well bred colt was really good the start before.  (5) FOX VALLEY SIENNA has been knocking on the door and just needs a smooth trip to get a piece.

Race 6

(3) IGOTYOURCRAZY gelding was all out to get a win last start on a sloppy track but looks to be sharp.  (5) LOVEDANCINWITHYOU comes off two straight victories and swooped the field last race; threat.  (4) NITROGEN FUSE makes his second start for a trainer that has brought in some nice-priced winners recently; threat.

Race 7

In a race with a lot of question marks (4) PARDON is the only standout despite racing evenly.  The mare has been pacing consistent miles against better competition.  (7) KIMBERLY R mare drops in class and was the drivers' choice; threat.  (9) MEARL FINN has not won in a very long time but can close decent from off the pace in the right scenario; use underneath.

Race 8

(5) CARNOUSTIE nice-looking filly scored her first victory of the year last out drawing off nicely.  The 3-year-old pacer finds a similar field and looks tough to beat with a trouble-free trip.  (7) SECTIONLINE PAMELA well-bred filly was used aggressively into a very fast half before fading late.  The 3-year-old might be the only threat to the top choice.  (8) ROMANTIC LEGACY was much better off the pace the two starts prior and could use a fast pace up front to close into.

Race 9

(2) ALLSTAR SURVIVOR gelding trotter makes his second start in a new barn and wasn't too far off some game opponents last out.  (10) SPEEDY ALBER would probably be considered the horse to beat had the 4-year-old drawn a better post; fires early.  (7) SO PHOTOGENIC doesn't look like much on paper but does add second-time lasix and has flashed ability.

Race 10

(8) SCOOTNFORDAMONEY was a game winner last out and should offer a fair price.  (9) LE-SIRENUSE gelding makes his first start in a new barn that is really good in this scenario.  (7) FOX VALLEY IVAN sophomore pacer has the most upside in the race and should only improve in his second start back off a layoff.
