Race 5 - $20,000 Guaranteed Pick Five Pool

Jeremey’s 50 cent Pick Five ticket:

2,3,6 / 8,10 / 3,4,5 / 3,5,7,8,9 / 6 = $45

Race 10 - $20,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet (19 - 33 / $81.20): BRING IT ON KAAJAY (11th)

Spot Play: HEATH (10th)

Race 1

(7) COTTONLAND GEM eight-year-old stallion has been consistently pacing good miles and raced very game last out.  (5) FOX VALLEY ANDY went a big effort last race for how the gelding had been racing.   A similar effort probably puts him on the ticket.  (4) JPS MINI ME looks terrible on paper but actually has the ability to upset in the right scenario.

Race 2

(4) LIFE IS GOOD TODAY doesn't win often but should offer a nice price in a wide open race.  (1) FURIOUS FRANK has been facing better, gets the best post, and should be much closer turning for home.   (5) LB'S ALAMERICANJOY four-year-old pacer's best is good enough but needs a smooth trip.

Race 3

(4) GALACTIC STAR is the horse to beat at this level and is back in a hot barn.  (2) FOX VALLEY IVAN has gone three big efforts in a row and should get a much easier trip this time out with the rail.  (5) JUSTLIVINTHEDREAM has yet to win on the year but could hit the ticket at a price; use underneath.

Race 4

(8) ALWAYS A FIGHTER has some excuses and will offer a giant price in a tough field to gauge.  (2) TIMEWELL has been pacing up a storm and a huge threat should the favorite falter.  (1) CON GAME one part of a powerful looking entry that will offer little value.

Race 5

(2) BOBBY B BREEZE will have a tough task ahead of him but looks to be in line for a good trip up close.  The trotter had some early season issues that could have held him back.  (6) FOX VALLEY VETO keeps getting the short end of the stick on the post draw but has a big late kick.   (3) TOUR HALL will take heavy tote action off of an impressive victory.  The 3-year-old hasn't always been consistent in the past and could be vulnerable late.

Race 6

(8) PART TIME pacer was scary good last out and could improve; big chance.  (10) ROLLINLIKEAHOTSHOT well bred 3-year-old has a nice pedigree and looks to be ready for a big effort second start back.  (6) SVAYA KNOWS just missed last out after the driver tried to get some separation early; threat.

Race 7

(3) MAJOR MONET will either cut the mile or sit a pocket trip; big chance.  (5) REAL OR MAGIC has been super sharp and faces a slightly lesser bunch.  (4) HOLDINGALLTHECARDS has shown signs of turning it around after a tremendous 2013; versatile.

Race 8

In a very tough race to handicap (5) OLD MAN RIVER was sharp last out and benefited from some racing luck, but was better than this group last year and could be on the upswing.  (8) SOMEPLACE SPECIAL put in a decent qualifier.  The pacer owns some upside and could pick up the pieces late  (7) PARK LANE DEPUTY doesn't win often but did race extremely well from a tough post and will probably be firing early again.

Race 9

(6) AL'S HAMMERED has been unstoppable and would be tough to beat with any one of his prior efforts.  (2) FORT SILKY hasn't fared well against the top choice recently but can upset in the right scenario.  (3) SILVER DEVIL well bred 4-year-old had no shot last out from a tough spot but can hit the bottom of the ticket at a price.

Race 10

(7) HEATH doesn't look like much on paper but the pacer will pop at a big price any week now.  (1) WASHINGTON HANOVER six-year-old gelding gets sent out for a hot barn against a softer field than what he's been facing.  (4) BELL VALLEY BILL takes a big drop in class and was the driver's choice.

Race 11

(6) BRING IT ON KAAJAY is sneaky sharp right now and should be much closer turning for home; big chance.  (5) LENNOX BLUE CHIP is just now rounding back into form and owns some back class.  (1) EXTRAVAGANT ART pacer has ability but is better used underneath as he has trouble passing horses late.

Race 12

(3) JUST BY DESIGN has had a slow start to the year but finds an ideal spot to get back on track.  (1) GIMMEAZZZMOOCH mare was in a funk before finally getting a win last out.  The 4-year-old is much better than what she's showing and can step up against this bunch.  (9) RYLEIGH'S LILLY is much better on the big track and will be the main danger late with any kind of pace up front.

Race 13

(8) TEA PARTY PATRIOT popped at a price last out unleashing a nice late kick and will try to do it again against a similar field.  (6) DABESTLEADEREVER pacer makes his third start back off a long layoff for a hot barn.  (4) UNCLE BUD faces a much easier field and should get an aggressive drive.
