Race 9 - $15,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet (9 - 15 / $32.40): BEACHSIDE BUNGALOW (1st)

Spot Play: RYLEIGH’S LILLY (9th)

Race 1

(5) BEACHSIDE BUNGALOW ran away and hid from this same group last out and looks tough to go against.  (1) LANCE GRAM might have the only shot at upsetting the favorite taking a significant drop in class.  (7) BLACKJACKRIVNDEL five-year-old gelding will be firing early but is best used underneath.

Race 2

In a wide open and evenly matched race (3) SAND OF THE BEACH should offer a big price and could be primed for a good effort third start back off a layoff.  (1) WHY ASK WHY was the driver's choice and has been racing gamely.  (2) WALKING TALL gelding has some ability but the driver opted elsewhere; command a price.

Race 3

(1) NANCY'S SKYSCAPE both the horse and the trainer are 0 for the year, however the pacer raced great last start and should hit the board with a similar effort.  (4) ONE LAST CHANCE faced a better group last week and has the ability to pace a good mile with a smooth trip.  (3) CAMWISER looks to offer low value and can go south any week.  If the pacer races like his last three he makes it four straight.

Race 4

(4) FIRSTCLASSALLTHWAY has been loaded with pace in his last three.  The eight-year-old should offer a fair price in a tough race to gauge.  (5) IAM BONASERA picks up a top pilot but is tricky to drive.  The pacer benefits from the outside post and can unleash a wicked kick late with a good setup.  (3) FORT SILKY seems to be inconsistent but is a threat with a good effort.

Race 5

(6) SUBMIT U sophomore colt will look to make it four wins to kick of his career.  (5) DAKOTA ROADSTER has been knocking on the door and is the only threat to the top choice.   (2) SHIFTTANEXTGEAR gelding is starting to put it together but still needs more; command a price.

Race 6

(3) CRIME OF PASSION gets sent out for a hot barn and is capable of a big effort.  (6) AJ GET'S THE MONEY pacer has been super this year and will have his sights set on the top; fires early.   (2) HOT STREAK HANOVER has won for fun in two straight but does make his fourth start in two weeks; use caution.

Race 7

(1) RED HOT ART gelding is loaded with talent but has trouble staying pacing.  If the 3-year-old minds his manners he's a winner.  (2) OFFICIALLY YOURS raced better than his line looks last out and should offer value underneath.   (8) JACKSON'S IMAGE well bred 3-year-old likely needs a start but comes off an excellent qualifier.

Race 8

(2) JERRICO takes a big drop in competition and was the driver's choice.  (3) ADAMS HANOVER was overmatched last out but could get a piece with some racing luck.  (7) NO FEAR NO DOUBT is having a tough time finding a level he can compete at but has been racing better than his lines indicate.

Race 9

(3) RYLEIGH'S LILLY mare will offer a nice price moving up in class and has a big brush late with a good setup.  (8) FEEL LIKE DANCING wasn't able to parlay a perfect trip last out but is capable against this group.  (2) ALWAYS ABOUT KATEY Indiana champ is just now back in racing shape and can pop any week.

Race 10

(4) CAM B ZIPPER was absolutely loaded the entire mile last out.  If the pacer repeats that effort nobody can touch him.   (1) SOMESTARSOMEWHERE took all heavy tote action last out in his first start off a short layoff.  The driver sat in and was blocked late but had a ton of pace.  (2) PREEMPTIVE BID set a lifetime mark last out but will need more.

Race 11

(4) REAL OR MAGIC was no match for the winner in his last but paced a very nice mile.  (8) BIG BRAD will likely be firing early and finds a soft bunch.  (9) CRANKIN IT UP gelding is better than what he shows on paper; threat.

Race 12

(7) BET ON HIM is always a threat at this level; versatile.  (2) HOLY MCMOSES has shown signs of stepping up and will offer a big price.  (1) CD'S IDEAL raced well in his last two and finds a wide open race.
