Best Bet (60 - 129 / $211.80): LUCKY JET (10th)

Spot Play: HISTERIO (4th)

Race 1

(3) BRIEF'S BOY is on a roll and gets sent out for a red hot trainer.  (10) FIESTY FLYER takes a significant class drop and has been pacing faster than most of the field.  (5) RA RA STEVEN has shown good gate speed and has been much better in the new barn.

Race 2

(7) LOVE THIS PLACE was really sharp last out and her best effort beats this field.  (6) AQUA ARTIST classy mare just raced evenly last start but is the fastest off the gate and could use a breather up front for her best chance.  (4) PERTTY MUSIC well-bred filly faces older but has been right there on the wire in her last few starts.

Race 3

In a field with few contenders (8) PRAIRIE THUNDER was bet down heavily from nowhere last out and raced like a gorilla taking no prisoners.  A repeat of that effort makes it two in a row.  (5) TOPVILLE SUNNYDAY was no match for the top choice last out but has hit the board in this class.  (4) HOLY MCMOSES is 0 for his last twenty-eight but has been racing better with the lasix.

Race 4

(9) HISTERIO gets sent out for a barn that has been bringing in some nice priced winners and finds a suspect field.  (2) BURSTING BLAZE was an easy winner last out and is a huge threat because of the tactical gate speed; fires early.  (4) ROCKME AMADEOUS probably has the most upside in the race despite the poor record.  The pacer does have the ability with a trip.

Race 5

In a fairly wide open race on paper (5) HAY GOODLOOKING is the only dropper in the race and has been consistently pacing good miles up in class.  (3) THE RIDDLER comes off a little bit of a disappointing effort but does add lasix for the second time.  (2) OLD MAN RIVER goes for the top barn but isn't showing any kind of consistency from week to week; command a price.

Race 6

(4) PARK LANE HOTSHOT pacer makes his second start at this level and should be closer turning for home.  (6) ROCKIN GLORY well bred 3-year-old has more ability than what he shows on paper and could use a smooth trip.  (7) HEAVENLY BEACHES is very fast when right but does come off a scratch; use underneath.

Race 7

(3) ST DAVID HANOVER looks to be the horse to beat on paper after finally putting in a better effort first up the entire mile.  (8) BOOGIE NIGHTS comes off a scratch but it may have been a transportation issue.  The Indiana bred pacer dominated the start prior.  (9) FOX VALLEY NORMAN should offer a big price and is probably best played underneath.

Race 8

(7) NITROGEN FUSE has been razor sharp since the new connections picked him up and will look to keep his streak alive.  (5) SHADY MAPLE BULLET has also been sharp for a new trainer and looks to make it five in a row.  (2) ARGON FIRE pacer has a nice late kick but needs to have the race set up in his favor.

Race 9

(9) AL'S HAMMERED owns one lethal stretch kick but is saddled with the worst post and will need to work out some sort of trip.  (6) IN OVER MY HEAD gets a good driver change and has been pacing better than his lines show.  (3) BEST MAN HANOVER has more back class than most of the field and has the post edge on his main rivals.

Race 10

(4) LUCKY JET comes off an easy win, adds lasix for the second time, and faces a similar field.  (6) MAJOR MONET is a risky play at this level because he does come off a scratch, however if the pacer is right he is a major threat to trip out.  (1a) PARK LANE DEPUTY doesn't win very often but has shown recent signs of picking his game up.

Race 11

(4) RITASCAPE had a very brutal trip last out leaving hard from an outside post before coming first up.  The impeccably bred filly has the most talent of all and could offer a nice price up in class.  (5) STATE STREET LIZ filly was really good last out and could use an early speed battle up front to close into.  (6) WHISTLE PIG just raced evenly last out and is probably best played underneath.

Race 12

(4) CHLOE HALL keep your eye on this one warming up or in the post parade because she had a bunch of lameness issues early in the year after her first start.  The well bred mare raced extremely well first start back off a long layoff and would be the horse to beat with any improvement.  (6) SCHMATIE filly was an easy winner last out but can sometimes be at the mercy of the trip and outer flow.  (8) DP ANGEL didn't try last out at all from a tough post, but if the filly can find a way into the race she is one of few contenders in the race.

Race 13

(4) LOVEDANCINWITHYOU never got into the race last out from a tough post but does own good closing ability in a wide open race. (3) LOOKABOUT gelding pacer put in a big effort last out to a game opponent.  Should the 3-year-old put in that same effort he probably gets his picture taken.  (5) NANCYS SKYSCAPE is an enigma for bettors never racing consistently but does own the fastest mile at the track of the field.
