Race 1

(7) FOX VALLEY TOUCHE should offer the right price and is versatile.  (1) COLE BLUE mare was a game winner last out and has been racing gamely; fires early.  (3) WINDSUN MONTECARLO mare has shown signs of a turnaround and can pace a big mile at anytime.

Race 2 – American National Consolation

(4) DEADLIEST CATCH just needs to stay trotting for a victory.  (1) MAJOR ATHENS has been a huge disappointment this year and comes off two sub-par performances.  The well-bred colt picks up a huge driver change and should be sitting in a great spot if he can mind his manners.  (5) BANCO SOLO is 0 for the year but does go for a powerful stable with a top-notch driver.

Race 3 – American National

In a suspect field (1) SOUTHWIND SILENCE looks to be extremely tough drawing the best post and can only beat herself.  (8) SWEETNSINFUL filly has had a tremendous year and looks to be the only threat to the top choice.  (3) JADED DREAM two-year-old filly needed her last start, closed with a furious rally, and could be sharper; use underneath.

Race 4 – American National

In a wide open race on paper (8) LET'S DRINK ON IT looked to be one of the best 2-year-olds in the country a short time ago and has been freshened up.  (10) BUSHWACKER lightly raced pacer put in a big effort last out and could have the most upside in the race.  However the 2-year-old will need to work out a trip from a very tough post.  (4) KINGOFTHEJUNGLE comes off a break last out but was sharp prior.

Race 5 – American National

(3) CREATINE has been a force all year long, has a big advantage over his main rival, and will look to get a nice spot up front early.  (10) SPIDER BLUE CHIP million dollar earner on the year will be firing early and as long as he doesn't burn up to much fuel in a speed battle will be tough late.  (4) PINE CREDIT trotting colt has picked up his game as the year has gone on and just needs some racing luck for a nice piece.

Race 6 – American National

(9) MISTER HERBIE just missed in the Breeders Crown and has been huge with the added lasix.  The trotter is lightly raced this year and could be peaking.  (8) UNCLE PETER put a line through his last start in the slop.  The 4-year-old stallion needed his last race and will be firing with a purpose early.  (2) MARKET SHARE will likely be the favorite and was in a perfect spot last start.  The stallion is much better from off the pace and almost always hits the board.  (4) MAVEN champion mare is on fire but is facing much different competition; command a price.

Race 7 – American National

(7) I LUV THE NITELIFE filly is having one of the greatest seasons ever and will look to run up the score against a much softer field than she's used to.  (8) CHARISMA HANOVER if there is a threat to the top choice here is a candidate.  The three-year-old pacer has a big-time burst of speed and is one of few that could make it interesting late.  (3) AUTHORIZE filly has big-time late kick but might not get much pace to close into.

Race 8 – American National

(6) BEE A MAGICIAN the horse of the year candidate can stamp her place in history with another win going undefeated on the year.   (7) FRAU BLUCHER has been no match for the top choice all year but is full of speed and talent.  (4) HANDOVER BELLE filly is fast but not good enough to get by the champ; use underneath.

Race 9 – American National

(6) LUCAN HANOVER could find a vulnerable Captain this week after his lackluster effort.  The well-bred pacer will be tough to deny if the Captain isn't on his `A' game.  (2) CAPTAINTREACHEROUS wasn't himself last week after getting fractions his own way.  I think the connections might try a different trip this week.  (8) ODDS ON EQUULEUS talented pacer is much better on the big track and could be setup to come charging hard late.

Race 10 – American National

(9) PET ROCK the odds could be stacked against him but if he gets a smooth trip he's the fastest in the race.  (2) FOILED AGAIN what can you say about the World Champion other than the fact he is doing what no other horse in the history of harness racing has ever done.  The 9-year-old doesn't do his best racing on the big track but might have everything set up in his favor; short price.  (5) OUR LUCKY CHIP Indiana bred stallion hasn't been overmatched against these in the past and should offer a huge price on the bottom of the ticket.

Race 11

(9) LATEST DESIRE three-year-old faces older and has the worst post but still might be good enough to get it done.  (1) BEST MAN HANOVER has been racing gamely down in class and looks like the added lasix has helped tremendously; big chance. (6) BREAKING THE LAW has been really inconsistent but went a big trip last week.

Race 12

(2) LB'S ALAMERICANJOY pacer has big time ability and versatile; threat.  (5) UNCLE BUD bumps back up in class and will offer a great price but does need a trip.  (4) ST DAVID HANOVER won with ease last out from a tough position.  A repeat of that last effort will make him dangerous.

Race 13

(8) LUCKY JET was on fire late last out and might be ready for a big effort after a long layoff.  (2) LENNOX BLUE CHIP is way down in class but is coming off a few average efforts.  (3) TIZA MOJO makes his first start for new connections who know how to improve first time in the barn.
