Race 10 - $20,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet (55 - 118 / $196.40): RITASCAPE (4th)

Spot Play: JUSTA COWBOY (10th)

Race 1

(5) REX PASSUS looks to be facing an easier field than his last few and has a good late kick.  (7) ALEQUASH HOTSPUR finds a weak field and looks to be one of the faster horses in the race; threat.  (2) MOSH PIT came up empty last out on the sloppy track but had been pacing some good miles prior.

Race 2

(4) IN OVER MY HEAD classy stallion has an excuse with the off track and is definitely a major contender in the race with a good trip.  (2) MAJOR MONET parlayed an ideal trip into a dead-heat victory with a game opponent and will be sitting up front close to the pace as usual.  (6) BEST MAN HANOVER is much better on a faster track and has been racing gamely.

Race 3

(10) OHTOBEAVET was an easy winner last out against a similar field and just needs to work out a trouble-free trip.  (8) EL SHOOTER could get the jump on the top choice and does have some ability despite the poor record.  (4) CHIPPER did close some ground last out against the top choice; use underneath.

Race 4

(6) RITASCAPE will be much closer turning for home and should be primed for a big effort third start back off a long layoff.   (8) CAMS SAHBRA came up empty last out but had been racing competitively against better competition.  (5) HOLIDAY SHOPPER finds an inconsistent field and has decent closing ability.

Race 5

(1) TIZA MOJO could be ready to turn the tables on his main rival.  The pacer draws the rail, makes his third start in a new barn, and didn't miss by much last out coming from a tough spot.  (10) WESTERN DEAL is on a roll and will look to float for position at minimum off the gate.  (6) MAJESTIC ROYALE pacer has been racing much better as of late and is versatile.

Race 6

(2) DON'T FLASH ME mare had no business making up that much ground last out and faces an easier field.  (4) BABE'S CHIP mare hits the board consistently and should offer a big price.  (7) STATE STREET LIZ was the drivers' choice and was really sharp last out in a stakes race; fires late.

Race 7

(6) LOVE THIS PLACE takes a huge drop in class and will look to take aim at the leaders late.  (5) AQUA ARTIST well bred mare was a game winner last out but will need more late to hold off the top choice.  (2) LC TIFFANY has won three in a row but now faces a much better field; use underneath.

Race 8

(8) MYSTICAL VICTRESS champion pacer faces state-bred competition and will be very tough to upset; short price.  (4) DUNE IN RED filly faces her toughest task of the year but could be a threat should the top choice falter.  (2) FOX VALLEY TOUCHE races much better up close to the pace and finally gets a good post.

Race 9

(7) PACO LABROOK Indiana bred always leaves it out on the track and just needs to avoid an early battle to control the pace for his best chance.  (6) FORT SILKY is on fire right now and looks to be in line for a really good trip.  (1) TIME TO ROLL was sharp last out blasting from a tough post.  The impeccably bred stallion will probably try and push the leaders early.

Race 10

(2) JUSTA COWBOY gets a big morning line and went a very tough trip last out first up against a big-time pacer.  (5) OLD MAN RIVER drops in class and should get a nice piece with any kind of trip. (3) AL'S HAMMERED looked real good first start off a very long layoff.  The 4-year-old pacer always takes heavy tote action and might not be ready to go as fast as he needs to win this race.

Race 11

(3) LENNOX BLUE CHIP has been a little disappointing in this class but the 9-year-old pacer has a big late kick and just needs the right setup.  (6) SAMMY'S COOL WIN probably could be considered the horse to beat in the race after facing better competition at Hoosier, but I would like to see a start over the track before I accepted a short price.  (1) SPORTY GYPSY could use his gate speed to his advantage to get a good spot up front early; use underneath.

Race 12

(4) UNCLE BUD drops in class, faces easier and should offer a fair price.  (5) TINK AND TIGER adds lasix and has paces some big miles this year.  (1) HOLY CHIP loves this track, draws the rail, and has the ability to pull off a huge upset with a lot of racing luck.

Race 13

In a tough race to handicap (7) ARGON FIRE adds lasix for the first time and could have needed his last two starts. (5) GREG AND FLEX was absolutely loaded a few back before racing evenly last out.  The 3-year-old will be tough to beat if he races back to a few starts ago.  (4) BELL VALLEY ART has been sharp in his last two but now bumps up in class slightly.
