Race 1

(3) GOT YOURSELF A GUN lightly raced 2-year-old faces older but gets sent out for red hot connections and was the driver's choice.  (2) HOT ROD PETE has some ability and has been progressing nicely.  (5) MIGHTY HOT SHOT showed a good burst of speed last out but looks to need more.

Race 2

(4) CARDINAL WIND picks up a good driver change in an evenly matched race.   (6) MY MINI SNICKERS was brutalized last out but the 2-year-old filly has a ton of ability and just needs a smooth trip.  (7) NESSIE'S BOY is capable of beating these but has been inconsistent from week to week.

Race 3

(3) BLUE RIVER could have an excuse with the sloppy track last out and owns a win against tougher.  (10) SUNSET DREAMER gelding has been getting better and will be blasting off the gate; threat.  (7) ALWAYS JIMMY RAY  got an ideal setup last out swooping the field late.

Race 4

(4) IT'S A BIG SECRET three-year-old just missed last start to a game winner and has the look of a real nice pacer.  (2) SANTANNA LONG LEGS burst on the scene last year with some big wins and is capable of pacing with this group.  (8) ESCAPADO four-year-old was a two-move winner last out and was the driver's choice.

Race 5

(7) JO JO SPUR is the horse to beat in a very weak field.  The pacer was a game winner last out needing the start against a better group.  (9) BRUSH THIRTEEN gelding makes his third start back off a layoff and has won at this level before.  (6) DAVE'S BID can't be overlooked with the connections despite looking terrible on paper.

Race 6

(1) MASTER OF EXCUSES drops in class and gets the best post.  (10) FOX VALLEY YAVONNE mare trotted a good mile last out from a tough spot.  If the 4-year-old can find a way into the race she could challenge late.  (2) SWAN PRINCESS was the driver's choice of three but is probably best used underneath.

Race 7

In a field with few contender (5) BIG BRAD was a game winner last out and faces a similar bunch.   (1a) FURIOUS FRANK picks up a big driver change and gets sent out for a red hot barn.  (3)  BIG DADDY WOO WOO also picks up an upgrade in the bike but has just raced evenly as of late; command a price.

Race 8

(2) MAJOR MONET gelding owns a ton of back class on the field.  The 8-year-old veteran has little competition and just needs a good effort to go wire to wire.  (6) LIFE IS GOOD TODAY gets a better post and has shown signs of turning it around.  The pacer is probably one of few threats should the top choice falter.  (10) SLEAZEBURGERNFRIES faces older more seasoned opponents but is one of the faster horses in the race.

Race 9

(7) AL'S HAMMERED never had a shot in the American National last week and will be out for revenge; fires late.   (2) IN OVER MY HEAD pacer comes into the race off two victories and should get a blazing pace to close into.  (4) TIME TO ROLL has also been sharp and owns a victory against this group on the year.

Race 10

(4) WINGS pacing mare is in career form and will look to keep it going against a solid bunch.   (8) LOVE THIS PLACE takes a huge drop in class but had been dreadful in her last few; use caution.   (10) TOSHIE SPECIAL mare has a good late kick with the right setup.

Race 11

(4) ROCKNROLL REALITY well bred 3-year-old finds a suspect bunch to gain some confidence.   (2) HOLY CHIP rarely wins but should do well at this level; threat.  (1) FOX VALLEY CUPID races better forwardly placed and that looks to be the game plan.

Race 12

(4) SS TOMMY TURNER gelding makes his third start off a layoff for hot connections.  (8) HEATH gelding owns only one win on the year but can run off a big mile any week.   (7) SHISWELL'S DELIGHT gets a provisional driver but fits well at this level; use underneath.

Race 13

(2) FIVEKNUCKLESHUFFLE just missed last out to a better bunch and now drops in class; big chance.  (4) OLD MAN RIVER was sharp first start back off the layoff and is one of few threats to the top choice.  (8) WILDCAT BOBBY has yet to win on the year but has paced some big efforts at this level.
