Bahamian Dancer heads Racing Post

With Hold That Tiger having bowed out in favor of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, the one-mile Group 1 Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster on Saturday has been left without a standout.

Bahamian Dancer, second last time in the one-mile Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes, is a deserving favorite, but there are some lightly raced juveniles in the field who will be dangerous.

Delacroix, an Aidan O'Brien-trained full brother to Thunder Gulch, was a maiden winner at Gowran Park first time out, while the Michael Stoute-trained Illustrator, although still a maiden, will appreciate the step up to a mile, as he is by Sadler's Wells.

Still, the more experienced Bahamian Dancer should prevail as he was closing well in the Royal Lodge, in which he finished just a head behind Al Jadeed.
