Autotote offers Stable Wars bet on Cup


Autotote Enterprises is now accepting bets on its Breeders' Cup proposition wager, Stable Wars.

Stable Wars offers wagerng on 10 stables, each consisting of three horses and a jockey in Saturday's Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships at Belmont Park.

The stable that earns the most points, wins the wager.

First place finishes are worth five points; second, three points; and third, one point.

Win, exacta and trifecta wagering is offered.

The 10 stables and the morning line odds for Stable Wars are:

2 P. Day - Officer, Mutamam, Delaware Township, 12 -1

3 L. Dettori - Flute, Came Home, Hap, 4 -1

4 V. Espinoza - Fantastic Light, Tranquility Lake, Jump Start, 6 -1

5 M. Kinane - Kona Gold, England's Legend, Forbidden Apple, 6 -1

6 C. McCarron - You, Swept Overboard, With Anticipation, 10-1

7 E. Prado - Aptitude, El Corredor, Spain, 6 -1

8 G. Stevens - Lailani, Habibti, Banks Hill, 4 -1

9 A. Solis - Sakhee, Exogenous, Irish Prize, 10 - 1

10 J. Velazquez - Galileo, Noverre, Spook Express, 12 -1

Stable Wars wagering is available at all Connecticut Off-Track Betting outlets and through Autotote's On The Wire telephone wagering system. Wagering will close at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
