Arlington: No Tolerance goes slow

Email

In the Mister Gus Stakes at Arlington, No Tolerance had a lead of close to two lengths as he triggered the electronic eye set up a half-mile from the race's start. The clock read 49.48 seconds - game, set, and match.

No one was catching No Tolerance ($8.40), not with that kind of slow pace, and he went on to win the one-mile race by one length over Scooter Roach, earning the winner's share of a $42,500 purse for the Easy Money 2006 Stable, trainer Mike Campbell, and Campbell's son, the jockey Jesse Campbell. Major Rhythm finished third, with favored Therecomesatiger checking in fifth after racing closest to the winner's slow early fractions.
