ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - Two-year-old claimers continued to do amazingly well at Arlington when Double Zero Seven won the $75,000 Spectacular Bid Stakes.

Double Zero Seven, claimed for $25,000 earlier this summer at Churchill Downs, won the Gilded Time Stakes here three weeks ago, and the 2-year-old filly Vicki Vallencourt, a maiden claiming winner, won the Top Flight Stakes here over the Labor Day weekend.

Double Zero Seven ($12.20), trained by Angel Montano, took advantage of a sizzling early pace to win for the fourth time in a row. Double Zero Seven, by Beau Genius, won a $50,000 claiming race here and an allowance race before sweeping Arlington's two sprint stakes for 2-year-olds.
