Arapahoe Park: No It Ain't scores in Sprint at 26-1

No It Ain't gets his first stakes victory Sunday in Arapahoe Park's $40,000 Sprint.

No It Ain’t reversed a trend of six straight off-the-board finishes Sunday at Arapahoe Park when he rallied from next to last to win the track’s $40,000 Sprint at 26-1. No It Ain’t, who paid $53.80, won by 2 1/4 lengths over 23-1 shot Sinaan. The 6-3 exacta paid $1,365.60.

No It Ain’t raced in 10th in the early stages Sunday, as 4-5 favorite Streakin’ Mohican set a pressured pace of 21.55 seconds for the opening quarter and 44.21 for the half-mile before finishing eighth. No It Ain’t advanced, picked off rivals gradually, and went on to cover the six furlongs on a fast track in 1:10.53.

Karlo Lopez rode the winner for the partnership of Vance Alfrey and Stuart Eskew. Temple Rushton trains No It Ain’t, a 5-year-old son of Yes It’s True who was bred in Kentucky by Northwest Farms. With his first stakes win, the horse improved his career record to five wins from 32 starts for earnings of $105,204.
