Aqueduct: Pick six pays $86k to three winning tickets

The TwinSpires Players Pool had all three winning tickets sold on Saturday’s Pick six at Aqueduct. Each ticket was worth $86,496.

 The TwinSpires Players Pool invites customers to invest in a play put together by handicappers Ed DeRosa, Michael Beychok, and Patrick McGoey.

According to DeRosa, the Players Pool invested $21,704 into the wager. The three winning tickets totaled $259,488 not including any consolation tickets they may have had.

There was a carryover of $76,369 entering the day and an additional $321,303 was bet into the pool.

The winning sequence of 12-2-8-3-5-16 consisted of Mrs. Calabash ($5.90), Self Destruct ($22.40), Mudflats ($4.20), Readtheprospectus ($12), San Pablo ($2.90), and Terminus ($13).

we were part of that and have to admit it was kinda fun even if i onlyhad 10 dollars in it migtt make 50 buck lol

You will get more than double that. But you also get an IRS form in your Christmas cards for basically hitting a 10:1 shot. That pool is not a good bet, and kills the payoff for the rest of the winning bettors (if there are any, which there usually is) who put in less.
