Aqueduct pick six finally hit, pays $132,209

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – The pick six was hit Thursday for only the second time in the last eight racing days. There were five winning tickets, each worth $132,209 for the 15-3-5-15-4-9 combination of Stud Muffin ($5.80), The Roundhouse ($22.80), My Unbridled Storm ($12.20), Cosmic King ($9.70), Grand Strategy ($7.20), and Saucy Jade ($7.90).

 The 5-of-6 consolation paid $686.

With a three-day carryover of $237,446 going in, an additional $763,224 was bet into the pick-six pool Thursday.

After Grand Strategy became the 3,500th career winner for jockey Corey Nakatani in the penultimate leg, all horses were covered in the finale except Persky’s Heart, who would have created a quadruple carryover of $661,045. She led early, but was quickly displaced and steadily faded as the rank outsider in the field.
