OZONE PARK, N.Y. - There will be a pick six  carryover of $306,342 on Saturday at Aqueduct after the wager was not hit for a third consecutive card. After there were four double-digit priced winners in the sequence, a victory by favored Malibu Princess ($4.10) in race 8 meant there were live tickets to just two horses - #2 Ornato and #11 Catapult Jack  - entering the final leg. Had either horse won, there would have been one winning pick six ticket worth $306,342. However, Cold Gone Hot ($10) rallied past Catapult Jack in deep stretch, capping off a sequence whose previous winners included Dynamax Pride ($14.60), Bullheaded Boy ($23.60), Final Chapter ($10.20), To the Victor ($21.20), and Malibu Princess ($4.10.) The consolation payout (5 of 6) was $2,510. Saturday’s pick-6 begins on race 4 (1:50 p.m. Eastern), a maiden special weight race for New York-bred 3-year-olds going a two-turn mile. The sequence includes fields of 7,6,8,10,9 and 9. There is no stakes race, but the feature is a competitive second-level optional $62,500 claimer that goes as race 8. Though it began to rain late on Friday, the Saturday forecast calls for dry conditions with temperatures in the low 50s. :: Enjoy news and analysis from DRF?
