Andanight, at 30-1, was up for a neck win over 4-5 favorite Dreamsandvisions in Saturday night's $40,000 Spring Stakes for Texas-breds at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston. It was another two lengths back in third to Senor Amigo. Andanight ($62.80) rallied from next to last for the win in the seven furlong race, as Senor Amigo set the pace, running the opening quarter in 22.42 seconds and a half-mile in 45.05. Andanight overtook the leaders through the stretch, and covered the distance in 1:24.53. "My horse has a big heart," said Omar Rodriguez, who rode Andanight for trainer Juan Rivera. "He never quit trying tonight." Andanight earned $24,000 for the win, which was his third from 18 career starts. He has now earned $65,430 for Nelco Farms.
