Amen Hallelujah forced out of Cup

Amen Hallelujah, the third-place finisher in the Grade 1 Darley Alcbiades, was not pre-entered in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf as expected due to an ankle injury, trainer Richard Dutrow Jr. said.

"She got to kicking in her stall and screwed her back ankle up," Dutrow said. "She looks like she'll make it back just fine."

Dutrow said he wasn't sure if Amen Hallelujah would make it back to the races this year.

Dutrow will still be represented in the Breeders' Cup with D' Funnybone in the Juvenile and Court Vision in the Mile. On Tuesday, D' Funnybone worked six furlongs in 1:14.36 over Aqueduct's main track. He is expected to breeze one more time before shipping to California on Tuesday.

"He's good, he's ready," Dutrow said.

Dutrow added that Anak Nakal, third in the Meadowlands Cup, will be pointed to the Clark Handicap at Churchill Downs on Nov. 27.
