All Is Vanity shows new dimension

All Is Vanity displayed a new dimension in winning the $78,000 Beautiful Pleasure Stakes by a nose over Paris Winds at Belmont Park.

Racing on the front end in her last eight starts, All Is Vanity sat third through the early stages of the Beautiful Pleasure. Under Alan Garcia, All Is Vanity swung three wide turning for home, made the lead in upper stretch, and then held off a rallying Paris Winds to get the victory. It was All Is Vanity's second win from three North American starts.

All Is Vanity, a 4-year-old French-bred daughter of Gold Away owned by Jedburgh Stud and trained by Christophe Clement, covered 1 1/16 miles in 1:40.98 over a firm outer turf course. She returned $10.40.

* Brookhaven's Money bulled his way through horses in upper stretch under Javier Castellano and drew clear to a 1 1/2-length victory in the $75,000 Spectacular Bid division of the New York Stallion Stakes.

Brookhaven's Money appeared to bother a tiring Fort Drum in upper stretch. Rajiv Maragh, the jockey aboard Fort Drum, claimed foul after finishing last, but the stewards took no action.

* In the $75,000 Cupecoy's Joy division of Stallion Stakes, Study Abroad ($6.70) rallied from sixth position under Garret Gomez and powered home a 5 1/2-length winner over 44-1 shot Ommadon's Frenzy. Study Abroad, trained by Richard Dutrow Jr., covered one mile in 1:38.27.
