European-based horses have won the last two editions of the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, and it has been confirmed that Qualify and Osaila will make the trip from Great Britain to run in the one-mile race on Oct. 31 at Santa Anita.

Red Outlaw overcame more than seven rivals to extend his unbeaten streak to six races in Sunday’s $93,250 Uniformity Stakes on the hillside turf course at Santa Anita.
The favored English filly Just The Judge came on strongly in the lane and held off Odeliz late to take Sunday’s Grade 1 E.P. Taylor Stakes, the supporting feature on Canadian International Day at Woodbine.
Caspar Netscher ($11.60), the lone European-based horse in the field, split horses in deep stretch Sunday to capture the Grade 2, $315,200 Nearctic Stakes at Woodbine.
Native Bombshell ($8.50), returning off nearly a year-long layoff, caught Cryptic Message in deep stretch and held off Disco Barbie in the final strides Sunday to win the Grade 3, $156,800 Ontario Fashion Stakes at Woodbine.
There might have been a chill in the air, but the action was hot and heavy out on the racetrack Sunday at Belmont Park, with more than 30 potential Breeders’ Cup starters working over the main track, training track, and turf.
A Toss Up won his first stakes since April 2012 in Saturday’s $150,000 Los Alamitos Championship, earning a berth to the $600,000 Champion of Champions on Dec. 13.
