Graded winner Algorithms, who was retired undefeated last week after three starts, will enter stud at Claiborne farm, the Paris, Ky., nursery announced Thursday.
The Bernardini 3-year-old will stand for $7,500 and will be syndicated.
Algorithms won the Grade 3 Holy Bull Stakes on Jan. 29 but was retired after aggravating a previous splint bone injury during training. Campaigned by Starlight Stables, he had been considered a leading Kentucky Derby contender this spring before the initial injury in his right front leg. Algorithms won both his starts at 2.
A son of Grade 3-placed Ava Knowsthecode, Algorithms is a half-brother to graded winners Justin Phillip, Keyed Entry, and Successful Mission.
What a shame that the racing form chooses to censor the truth. Absolutely pathetic.
