Alex's Pal relocating to New York

Alex's Pal, whose daughter C C's Pal was a multiple graded stakes winner in New York last year, has relocated to continue his stud career in that state, at Centennial Farm in Gilbertsville, N.Y.

The 14-year-old Valid Expectations horse, who previously stood at Birch Creek Farm in Cream Ridge, N.J., will stand for a fee of $3,500 at Centennial.

C C's Pal won stakes races at all three tracks on the New York Racing Association circuit last season, taking the Grade 2 Vagrancy Handicap at Belmont Park, the Grade 2 Honorable Miss Handicap at Saratoga Race Course, and the Ladies Handicap at Aqueduct. The mare, who has won or placed in 19 stakes, has earned $799,420 to date.

Alex's Pal is also the sire of multiple stakes winner and Grade 3-placed My Pal Chrisy and stakes-placed winner Quick and Gray.

From his first five crops of racing age, the stallion has produced 45 winners from 57 starters for earnings of $3,025,513.

During his own racing career, Alex's Pal won six of 19 career starts, earning $163,680. Out of the winning Fortunate Prospect mare Successful Dancer, he is a half-brother to Grade 2 winner and sire Successful Appeal, as well as to Grade 2 winner True to Tradition.
