Alex's Allure 3-for-3 on local turf

BOSSIER CITY, La. - Alex's Allure ran her record over the John Franks Turf Course to a perfect three-for-three with a sweeping rally in Saturday's Senorita Stakes at Louisiana Downs. Malika's Gold finished a distant second followed by longshot Our Leading Lady.

Content to allow the early leaders to cut out quick fractions of 22.51 and 46.81 seconds, John Jacinto asked Alex's Allure ($8.00) for some run into the far turn of the grassy mile and a sixteenth test for 3-year-old fillies. She responded by quickly surging to the front with a quarter to run and eventually increased her margin to 10 lengths at the finish in a time of 1:44.58 over firm going.

Trained by Sam David Jr. for J.T. Pass Family Racing, Alex's Allure returned to the surface that produced a maiden and entry-level allowance win prior to an unplaced effort in the Lorelei Stakes on the main track in her most recent start.
