Airdrie to stand Include in '03

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Brereton C. Jones's Airdrie Stud has privately purchased Grade 1 winner Include, and the horse has been retired to stud for the 2003 breeding season. Include will stand at Airdrie near Midway, Ky., for a $12,500 fee.

Include, a 5-year-old Broad Brush horse, was campaigned by his breeder, Robert Meyerhoff, and trained by Buddy Delp. His Grade 1 victory was in the Pimlico Special Handicap last year. His other graded stakes wins came in last year's New Orleans and Massachusetts handicaps, both Grade 2's. He retires with a lifetime racing record of 20-10-1-4 and earnings of $1,659,560.

Include is out of the stakes-winning Stop the Music mare Illeria. She also is the dam of Grade 3 winner Magic Broad and stakes-placed Loaded Brush, both full siblings to Include. She also is the dam of stakes-placed Invent, by Concern.
