Adena Springs in Paris, Ky. has released the advertised 2015 stud fees for its nine-horse stallion roster. The group will once again be led by Awesome Again, a 20-year-old Deputy Minister horse, who will stand for $75,000, the same fee he commanded in 2014. Close behind will be Hall of Famer Ghostzapper, who will stand for an advertised fee of $60,000. The 14-year-old son of Awesome Again was advertised at $50,000 during the previous breeding season. New to the Adena Springs stallion roster for 2015 will be Mucho Macho Man, a 6-year-old Macho Uno horse and winner of the 2013 Breeders’ Cup Classic, who will stand for $15,000 during his debut season. Mucho Macho Man becomes the fifth Breeders’ Cup Classic winner to stand at Adena Springs. “We have always put the emphasis on classic performance in our breeding program and with our stallion roster,” said Frank Stronach, owner of Adena Springs. Among the stallions standing for reduced fees in 2015 are Fort Larned [$12,500 from $20,000] and Macho Uno [$20,000 from $30,000], as well as Alphabet Soup and Touch Gold [each $3,500 from $5,000].
