Adena Springs North releases 2015 fees

Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs North in Aurora, Ontario has released the advertised 2015 stud fees for its nine-horse stallion roster.

Three stallions will command the co-highest fee: Milwaukee Brew, Sligo Bay, and Silent Name, who will each stand for $6,612 ($7,500 Canadian).

Milwaukee Brew, a 17-year-old son of Wild Again, will see no change in his advertised fee. His runners are led in 2014 by Prince of Wales Stakes winner Coltimus Prime.

Silent Name’s fee will also remain unchanged for 2015. The 12-year-old Sunday Silence horse is currently Canada’s leading turf sire by progeny earnings in 2014

Sligo Bay, sire of Queen’s Plate and Woodbine Oaks winner Lexie Lou, previously stood for about $4,408 ($5,000 Canadian). He is a 16-year-old son of Sadler’s Wells.

New to the Adena Springs North roster for 2015 is Rookie Sensation, a Grade 2-winning son of Unbridled’s Song who will debut for $4,408 ($5,000 Canadian).

The roster will also have three stallions arriving to Adena Springs North from other points on the map including Einstein, who previously stood at the farm’s Kentucky branch and is advertised for $4,408 ($5,000 Canadian) in 2015. Wilko will return after a season in western Canada to stand for a private fee, as will North Light, who stood the 2014 season in England.
