Adena Springs keeps Awesone Again's fee at $150K

EmailFrank Stronach's Adena Springs will keep Awesome Again's fee at $150,000 for 2008, the same fee he carried in 2007.

Awesome Again's standout runners this year include Ginger Punch, winner of the Breeders' Cup Distaff, and Awesome Gem, third in the BC Classic.

Awesome Again stands at Adena's Kentucky division. He will be joined in 2008 by his half-brother Macho Uno, a former juvenile champion and now a leading freshman sire. Macho Uno is moving to Kentucky from Adena Springs South in Florida and will stand for $20,000 in 2008. Also new to Adena Kentucky in 2008 is a recent Grade 2 winner, Silent Name, who will stand for $7,500 after his final career start, the Grade 1 Citation on Nov. 23 at Hollywood Park.

Other horses on the Kentucky roster for the coming season are Congaree, $15,000; El Prado, $75,000; Ghostzapper, $150,000; Giacomo, $12,500; North Light, $25,000; and Touch Gold, $20,000.

Adena's Florida division will stand four new horses in 2008: Wilko ($10,000), Aristocrat ($5,000), Alphabet Soup ($10,000), and Olmodavor ($5,000). Alphabet Soup and Olmodavor will relocate from Kentucky.

Adena's other Florida stallions are Greatness, $5,000; Indy King, $2,000; Milwaukee Brew, $7,500; Red Bullet, $10,000; and Silgo Bay, $7,500.
